This is a tough one…I have been following this situation ever since the day of the slow speed chase. I would buy it if the money went to the families …I want to know how that sick bastard killed two people and got away… not so i could do it… but so maybe I could catch the next murderous football that crossed my path.

I already read the book on line, & I personally thought it was crappy!

no I would not buy it in the store ESPECIALLY after Fred Goldman told everyone not to buy the book, but now because the money is going into his pockets its okay to buy the book???

the worst part is the story is about OJ & Nicole not Ron I think what Goldman is doing is a slap in the face to the Brown family, the book will open up wounds for the Browns .

the book was to put to rest & they had peace now the goldmans are going to sell it to the world!

and for that reason alone I will not buy the book !

    Ms. Brown:

Unfortunately, there are too many people in the United States who have lost a loved one to a violent act. I applaud you and admire the reserve of courage you must surely draw upon to devote your efforts toward saving others and educating people about the kinds of violence which can escalate to tragedy. For your family and the Goldmans, the horrific loss became daily fodder for the media and the grief both your families have endured was, and continues to be, rawly exposed by the media. I was appalled last year when I read of the forthcoming publication of Mr. Simpson’s book. I absolutely believe in the First Amendment, regardless of the appeal by the voyeuristic or prurient. Nevertheless, I was relieved when the book was derailed by public outcry and the objections of your family and the Goldman family. My disgust at the opportunistic publication of this subject matter by Mr. Goldman and his daughter is beyond words. If you were quoted accurately, “hypocrite” was one of the nicest things you could have said.

I AM FURIOUS AT FRED GOLDMAN, I PRAY THAT HE DOESN’T MAKE A PENNY ON THE BOOK, IF ANYONE SHOULD GET PAID THE MONEY SHOULD BE DIVIDED BETWEEN THE KIDS, BROWNS AND GOLDMANS, FRED GOLDMAN MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH AND I HOPE HE CHOKES ON EVERY DOLLAR HE GETS.

You know, the only reason I would read it would be for some insight into Nicole, I always feel she was known in the press only as OJ’s beautiful wife and ex wife…

I have seen her face so many times, I would love to know who she was, what made her laugh the good times…

I wish your family would write a book on her, and just a suggestion I think there should be a section here or at the foundation with pics of her life..

I know it’s imporant to learn from her death, but also I feel it importand for her to be remembered as more than his ex.

  6. Denise said,

Please don’t tell me you would but this book to get to know Nicole. This book was written by the man who murdered her and her friend. How could he of all people have anything good to say about Nicole. I am in the process of writing a book. This is the book that will tell you who the real Nicole is. The beginning of 2008 it will be released.

i read the free book on line. not that good.i will not buy.

I hope your family and or other creditors in the bankruptcy case will find a way to appeal that wrong decision by the florida judge. i believe nicoles estate deserves a equal share of anytrhing that comes from this book.

Goldman just wants another car and a bigger house.
he has FLIP FLOPPED FOR MONEY.

    keep up the good work.

    Denise,

I wondered when you would write a book about Nicole, and I have been patiently waiting for someone who knew the real Nicole to share her life in a way that I know you will do and so I look very forward to the publishing.

You’ve done great work, and I admire your strength.

  9. Danielle said,

My sincere apologies, perhaps my wording was wrong, I was under the impression that it included details of her life, as a wife and mother. And I didn’t say I would buy the book I said the “only reason” I would buy it…..I neither confirmed or denied if I would buy it.

I would much rather read a book written by a loved one obviously

  10. fbgweezer said,

As I understand the ruling, if the Goldmans do not pursue publishing and selling this book, the rights revert back to the simpsons. I also undestood the ruling to say there was a limit on the time that the Goldmans had to accomplish this. Do you know if that is correct?

  11. Jana Barker said,

    Denise,
I am so sorry about this book being published. I will not buy it and will put the word out through our organization and personally not to purchase it. I think Mr. Goldman has forgotten what this is about.

I think this may be a little harsh on the Goldmans. Seems to me that by dropping back to the end of the line of creditors, says alot about the man. I interpret the things that he has done to pursue orenthal as good and just.

Hey Denise, I’m absolutely SICKENED by the Goldman’ family’s GREED. This is THE most tasteless stunt that they have pulled to date. ALMOST as tasteless as the woman who left you a comment saying she would buy the book so that she may get some “Insight to Nicole” GOOD GOD! Does she REALLY think that she is going to get an accurate insight from the monster that murdered her?
    I’m just livid!

    Hey Denise, Divas and Gents,

Danielle, the only thing really that there is to know about Nicole is that she was murdered. Whether she was good, bad or indifferent is really secondary. NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE DESERVES TO BE SAVAGELY BRUTALIZED IN THE MANNER IN WHICH OJ DID THESE TWO. Regardless of friends and/or enemies remember about Nicole, she was a mother of two gorgeous children, and well . . . . . . . . damn . . . . . A HUMAN BEING!!!!!! Let us not lose our focus here. This was a murder of two innocent people. The book that OJ wrote is going to be his opinion. I think that the only word I can use right now to describe Fred Goldman and his daughter are PITIFUL!!!! Everyone knows that OJ chose the PUNK way out. However, is it all that important for Fred Goldman to get $33 million by any means necessary? OH HELL NO!!!! $33 billion, trillion, quadrillion, etc., still wouldn’t make up for my child. All the money in the world shouldn’t make up for Ron Goldman’s presence.

Also, I would like to say KUDOS, Handclaps, two snaps and a twist to you Denise!!! You Rock!!!! On your website, please include a link to Chris Hansen’s “To Catch a Predator,” and other links to the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We need to stop every kind of abuse!!!

LOVE YA’LL, and please be nice to each other.

Excuse me I never said if I was reading the book, others here have said they would read it or have read it..I don’t recall writing where anyone deserved to be murdered.

so much for peace huh lol….

Diana you are tasteless IMO jumping on someone for simply stating an honest opinion.

I thought considering the subject matter, this would be a somewhat peaceful forum, instead I have been attacked verbally for being honest.

I think I will find a much kinder more open minded forum to read on..

I think it is disgusting that fred goldman will have this (garbage)book published. How will making money, make him feel better. I think he is greedy. If anything, the children of Nicole should share in the money, they were the real victims, they lost their mother, whom they loved so much, and she Nicole loved them so much. The bottom line is, the book should never ever have been published. But since it will be, the right thing to do, is to have the children share in the profits. How can fred goldman show his face in public, after the way he went on and on about OJ & the book, on the Larry King Show??????????? Denise, May god bless you and your family, you are all in my prayers, each and every day, along with Nicole. ( My nephew was murdered 4 yrs. ago, we never forget.)

Denise — I most certainly won’t be buying (or reading) that book. I want to let your sister rest in peace……and I want Fred Goldman to go away and grieve in private. All money is not green. Money generated from this book is nothing other than BLOOD MONEY. The Goldmans are greedy, and this can be supported by the fact that while they feared that O.J. would profit from the book, they called for a boycott. However, their position is drastically different…now that it is they who will profit from the book. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this one out…

I will not read this book…not even a free version of it.

The fact that Mr. Simpson recieved custody of his children, walks our streets and has written this book is a mockery of our judicial system.
I supported Mr. Goldman (when I am not an intranet person but am so strongly opposed to this book being released) and I am alittle surprised in his “change of heart”?
I am not interested in knowing “how” OJ killed his ex-wife and her friend Mr. Goldman. I will not read his book and encourage others to oppose its publishing.

  24. Patrick said,

    Denise,

It is sad that the world is all about money. That is what this book is about, not the families, relatives and most of all the children. To make money in this way who ever profits is morally wrong.

This is not an article splashed over the papers for days. It is not the talk show hot topic for a time. It is a forever lasting reminder and nightmare to the children. What happened to the phrase “in the best interest of the children”?

For the life of me I don’t know how those jurors can live with their decision. It truly shows how flawed our justice system is. At best the judge had the power to overturn the verdict. Maybe his mind was also on fame and fortune instead of justice.

In closing I must say I have now way to feel your pain. I feel it would be a sin for a permanent reminder to be out there forever keeping you from some kind of closure.

    God bless

  25. Mari said,

I would never buy this book. As I watched the Simpson trail, I saw so much of my own married life and felt like I could have been her at any time during my marriage. The murder even reminds me in looks, actions, words, and voice of my own abusive ex. Publishing a manual to commit murder and get away with it isn’t my idea of interesting reading when we have so much domestic voilence in our communities anyway.

I’m not sure I think the Goldman’s are being greedy and doing this to get money, but more think they’re doing it to make a mockery of this violent killer, and have his confession exposed to the public. The cost of doing that will on Nicole’s children – and haven’t they already been through enough?

My hope is that this isn’t a done deal and that your outcry and petition will get the publication of the killers confession stopped.

  26. Kerry Klisch said,

I guess it depends on your personal thought process. There are those that believe that the only way to really sock it to OJ is to hit him where it hurts and the only place it seems to hurt is his pocket book. These are the people that still continue to support Fred Goldman.

In some ways I struggle on this particular issue. I think that Fred Goldman wishes to pursue every avenue he can to not allow OJ a moment to breathe, but at the same time I find the book to be in extremely bad taste and know that I personally could not bring myself to read it.

  27. JoeyL said,

Thank you Denise for your kind, valiant and persistent efforts to help and support victims of such horrific crimes as that perpetrated on Nicole. It seems that Fred Goldman has clearly shown hypocricy and greed not only by acting in complete opposition to his own words regarding the OJ book, but also in defiance of his own previous statement that his actions are “not about the money”, but instead are about the principle. It is very unfortunate that he has chosen a lifelong course of seeking revenge rather than following your lead by embarking upon a path of healing his spirit and helping other victims of such unspeakable crimes. I pray that “If I did it” is never published, but if it is I would like to see an enormous amount of pressure placed on Fred Goldman to donate all of the proceeds to a worthy cause such as the Nicole Brown foundation. Let us not forget that Nicole’s children have suffered enormously from this unspeakable tragedy and Fred Goldman has selfishly and self-centeredly ignored their well-being.
I would never read such a book, but “If I Read It, I Would be Disgusted”.

  28. Helen Rivera said,

There is no way I would ever purchase this book. I don’t need to read about a horrific murder of two innocent people. I feel that if I purchase the book I would have blood on my hands. High sales of this book would give OJ a sense of pride and heighten his feelings of glory, he would get the last laugh regardless if he got a penny. Purchasing this book would send him a message that the public is blood hungry, as well as glorifying him in his celebrity status and that of a celebrity murderer as well. Would he justify himself with the sales? Is he saying what he did (the murder and ultimately the book authoring) was ok because we want to know about it, read about it, dwell on it? I think he would justify himself, saying all that he did was ok because the public wanted it. He submits to his passions and has no self-control. By purchasing this book we may be telling him that what he did (the murders and the book) was ok to do. I will not have blood on my hands and I don’t need those images running around in my head. I gain no satisfaction from knowing what occured and I truly wonder about those who need that kind of stimulation. Let Nicole and Ron’s memory rest in peace.

  29. Amy said,

Denise – My heart has been with your family for many years now, as well as to the Goldmans. I could never imagine the pain as I do sympathize with what you’ve been through. Your morning appearance on the Today Show left me feeling as though you are just angry your family has been left out of the opportunity to make profits (as has been alleged through other articles). While I understand that has not been the case, your anger this morning may intensify the argument that your family is seeking profits. Perhaps, the book should have just never been published. And yet, my hope is that the book serves as a lighthouse for those out there who need to read, see, and understand how domestic violence can escalate, what goes on in that type person’s mind, and possibly how to avoid it. As an advocate of domestic violence, don’t you want people to see how this person (OJ) one who is the poster child for domestic violence in our country managed to still go free? How he managed to carry out a brutal crime so systemically that not even law enforcement, prosecutors, nor judge and jury could manage to vindicate? I’m sure the book is disgusting. However, we’ve got to wake up women out there who still just don’t get that eventually domestic abusers will kill given the chance. I support you still. I do however worry about the delivery of your message and its impact.

    Hello Ms. Brown.
When I read things like this I am reminded of all of the heartache that OJ caused you all. Especially Nicole’s children. I find it unfortunate that their father is still able to have anything to do with him. For a man who claims his innocence, he certainly managed to prove to the world how completely disrespectful an “innocent” man can be. He wrote a book and fully intended to have the worl read it knowing darn well that it would affect his children. Oj Simpson is no more innocent in his behavior now than he was at his murder trial.
I am sure you all have heard this kind of rant before. What I really want to offer is this. Both your family and the Goldman’s have been through so much and continue to have to deal with this on a daily basis. What I am sad to see is that this book OJ threw up on the public has caused a riff between the victim’s families. Let’s face it, all of you have been dealt the rawest deal with little comfort from any true vindacation. I can see how it looks out of whack, what the Goldman’s are doing but do we really know where their minds are at. What we do know is that it looks very strange and out of their previous behavior. Who knows what there reasons are. What we do know is they loved their son and where devasted by his death as was Nicole’s family and friends. Don’t allow a book…a book by OJ Simpson, especially…to cause bad feelings between the victim’s families. You guy’s have all been through to much to start fighting amongst yourselves. This is just another way he is aloud to victimize Nicole by causing strife over thirteen years later. Remember, the children are watching. Try to remind them of the good about there life. The world knows he is a dirt bag. I do not know a single person not horrified and disgusted by OJ’s latest attemps to profit off a crime he undoubtedly committed. Don’t let him punish you too.
    Best of luck to you.
    Kelly, California

  31. Stormie said,

I WILL NOT read that book under any circumstances. I watched with a sad heart the two families suffering through this horrific loss and I will not be a person to add insult to injury to these families by reading words from OJ….all he wants is to have his name out there no matter the cost and I wont be a party to that. I am so sorry for the families and for Nicoles children, you all are in my prayers.

  32. Teresa Biggs said,

For me there is no reason to read it. I’m simply shocked that the Goldman family would back the publication of this material. They are hypocrites in my eyes and they will have to live with the blood money from this. I am sorry that they lost their son but I wish that they would consider the other victims in this case and not focus on themselves. Nothing positive will come out of publishing the book and certainly nothing positive has come from making yourself (i.e., the Goldmans) a hypocrite.

  33. Steve said,

I would not purchase the book nor read it if someone offered. It is disgusting and simply displays for the world how evil the man is and he is showing his true colors, again.

  34. Sam Burbank said,

    Denise,
Not only would I not read this book, I would not respect anyone who published it, read it, or supported it in any fashion. I have gone on my own vigil to speak to all the people I know about signing your online petition.

They say that if you tell ten of your friends, and they tell ten more, etc., it doesn’t take long.

As a martial arts instructor, I ran into many victims of domestic violence and unwarranted emotional and physical abuse. This book is just another form of control by OJ. What the publisher can’t see past the dollar signs is how much he is furthering latent behavior patterns. This book, if it is eventually published is a prime example of how to commit a crime, and in no way should we as a humane public embrace it.

    Hello Denise,
I am absolutly discussted, that such a horrible event has boiled down to money. I agree with you that both families can speak and peform other endeavors to raise money for the children of Nicole, and not rely on blood money! I am a veteren broadcaster and former talk show host that has performed before the mike and camera and hundreds of groups over the coures of my career. If you recruit me I’ll be happy to help spread the word “not to publish” here in Texas, and I don’t want any money. I will speak if you want, organize petitions, what ever it takes to stop the book from ever reaching the public. I dosn’t matter how people sugarcoat it, this is a primer for violence! Keep up your promise to Nicole. Best regards, John McAllister

  40. Rick said,

Denise, You need to get a grip on yourself! The publishing of this book(not a manual,as you call it) needs to be made open so the world can really know is that this man(Simpson) got away with murdering your sister and Ron Goldman, and he is confessing to it in this book.Further more you give no credit to the courage and strength of your niece and nephew, who have heard every lie their murderous father could tell them to brainwash them into believing he did not commit this cowardous act.I so hope they read this book ,not once ,but twice so they may really know who their father is; their mothers brutal killer. The Goldman’s are doing the right thing, they took away OJ’s possible big money payoff and with the publishing of the book it may if you all lucky it may take away what he most loves…the love and acknowledgement of his kids. This man needs to have the very life yanked out of him.He should die a very sad and lonely man…without a family or any body else to care about him.Denise you should rejoice in what will soon come true, no money for OJ and no kids to love or respect him.The kids will grow strong of mind and will be able to make the ultimate decision that they really do not have father to speak of. ONLY THE MAN THAT BRUTALLY KILLED THEIR MOTHER. I am definitely for publishing the book. Good Luck

  41. Cheryl said,

I would never buy the book I think it is outrageous that OJ had the nerve to even write something like this. As if getting away with murder wasn’t enough he has to put the knife the families back once again. He is such a monster. I can’t believe they allow him to be out on the street and not locked up in a cage like the animal he truly is..

I can’t imagine what it is like to lose a son or daughter but I don’t feel I would ever think there would be a situation in which I would think it would be ok to profit from a book such as this.. I think Fred is totally out of line on this one.

  42. Cindy White said,

If it has been decided that the book will be published (I will sign the petition) the money from the book should be distributed equally between the Browns and Goldmans. And I am confident that OJ is getting his. I will venture a bet that he is SHUNNED everywhere he goes. We will let him live in hell while he is alive..then spend eternity there after he meets his demise. I bet it will be a dandy too… Gotta be BAD karma shadowing him daily. THis is for sure not a case of live and let live.

I will not buy this book. You are so right. I do not buy anything with OJ in it.
I will not support him or his crime. I have made a point in my life starting when I was a teenager and the Manson killings occured, that I would never watch, read listen to Manson or his followers, other than actual news reports. I will not support any criminals in any commercial enterprise or those that make money from such.

About the book publication….I hope that somehow the book never sees true publishing for public consumption. I can’t see how this will help anyone!
The deed has been done ; the trial has been held and widely publicized; Denise has gone forward with help to many others as her dedicated memory to her sister; the “children” still are with their father, and have had a lot to bear, as have the whole Brown and Goldman family.
I wonder if there is not a time to to “still the soul” of the many that hurt, and go forward with a better life for all!

I can’t put into words how sorry I am for you and your family. 13 years after the horrific slaying of your sister someone still wants to profit from you and your families pain. Do you really think Ron Goldman would want this book published for the sake of getting money from this sick excuse of a human being which is stretching the fact that he is human. No human being in there right mind would have ever done this. And then try and profit from it w/the goldman’s blessing makes them just as sick, makes me so sick, I will never forget your sister and what she went through. I was lucky to escape my abuser, and have never been involved w/a man since or ever will be again. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and know he will get his judgement by the true judge of all of us. I hope Nicole gets to have a say in what should happen to him. I hope he rots in ell where he belongs. Peace and love to you and your family from a survivor.

Wow. Fred Goldman has considered a price for his flesh and blood, and he has sold his son to the highest bidder. I am sorry for your pain Denise, it must be horrific. But you have the strength to raise hell about this and please continue. I am so sickened that people will buy this book. I am so sickened that integrity and doing the right thing is just gone in this world. Fred Goldman, you will be in the very same class of trash as OJ is, make no mistake. I really want to know how he justifies this. Money will not buy you sleep, Fred.
Rock On Denise, you are an inspiration for women who need to hear you.

I agree with you and admire your courage. It is wonderful to see someone take the best interest of the children instead of the best interest of the pocket book. Those poor children have had enough in their short lives, why rehash it all over again. Good Bless you Denise.

The Goldmans are nothing more than greedy hypocrits. They have done nothing but whine and complain, nothing positive. If the book was sick and disgusting a few months ago, then it is still sick and disgusting despite any monetary benefit Goldman receives. This book should be boycotted at all costs along with the hypocritical Goldmans. They disgust me.

    Ms. Brown:
I know the pain and anquish you are going through, because I lost my one and only sister to a crazed murderer too and every time something appeared in the press, we had to shield her three very young children from it. Her murderer is also walking the streets, though he was found guilty of first degree murder! Crazy, huh?
I have heard Fred and Kim Goldman say again and again that this book should not be published, because no one should profit from murder. Now the Goldman’s are havingit published. Excuse me! Profiting from murder is immoral, no matter who profits. What hypocrites!!! Even though Fred Goldman said the civil law suit was not about the money, I never believed him. It’s always been about the money. He knows it. And now the rest of the world knows it too. I would never waste my money to buy the book, nor my valuable time to read it. You go girl!!!! I’m pulling for you 100%.

    Hi All:
Thank you all for expressing your feelings. Good, Bad or indifferent that’s what makes the world go round. The book now goes beyond the murders…and has reached a point that has redefined the “COMMERCIALIZATION OF BLOOD MONEY.” THIS BOOK IS A MANUAL ON SOCIAL IRRESPONSIBILITY and anyone that “touches it or is involved in its commercialization” — endorses what is morally wrong in society. It’s time to let the publisher know how we feel about this book being published.

I just signed the petition to stop publication of that trashy book. You are right, Denise, that book amounts to a manual on how to commit murder. It makes me wonder if Corporate America is so morally bankrupt that would stoop so low to put trash like this in the hands of the public, especially those who will put it to use. Was I too late in signing the petition? If there is anything else I can do to help. please let me know. I am at your service.

A community is comprised of many components of diversity that form together a common bond of cohesion. Deviation from this cohesion, by an act of immorality or lawlessness is an act of conspiracy against the community. For a community to survive and prosper, there must be an organized effort to promote unity through its common laws and observances of these laws. A concerted effort to promote harmony in the community by disallowing unremitting or habitual breaches is in its intentions, to ensure safety and enjoyment of the community.

Although a community can prosper and enjoy the benefits that each of its members help to provide through diversity of ideas and diversity of spirit I do not think that a community can truly prosper when there are vast differences in morality. If one cannot distinguish right from wrong, there is a good chance that his or her errors would impede the combined efforts towards happiness in the community.

The “family unit” has become much more mobile in today’s society than in other societies. The implications of this mobility are such that the further development of our moral conscience is dependent on our adaptability to the extraneous circumstances that exist.

Fragmentation of the family, through divorce or less noble means, such as abandonment, drug abuse, alcoholism and other means of negligence has had a greater impact on our community than we may be willing to accept. Being able to adapt in a world where the fragments of disenchantment beg for reconciliation is an undertaking that we cannot ignore. We must not close our doors to the disenfranchised, because if we do, we would only help to perpetuate the illness that already exists. Since families are the main components of our communities, the break-up of families through flagrancy is a direct insult on the community, therefore hampering the progress of the community.

What I have witnessed as a flagrant disregard for each other, through the actions of gangs and the like, I can then realize the full implication of this fragmentation. It is a sad state of affairs when our potential to do well and contribute to our community is diminished by the acts of radical withdrawal. We have to reconsider the importance of our roles as members of a family, members of a larger family called community and the interactions that combined, provide a better world environment for all of us. It is a great commitment but one that would offer a more civilized world for our children to enjoy.”

could you not get mr. O’reiley to speak out to his views to boycott the book
he’s got all the pull and people listen to him. I think the book is sick
and if mr. Goldman doesn’t think about the brown’s then consider the children
I think the court ruling should have been 50/50.
although the brown family could careless about the blood money from the book
ms. Brown is just focus on the kids syd & justin.
also how can we boycott the stores that might sell the book
what can we do to help.

    HELLO MS. BROWN

I SAW YOU ON MANY SHOWS BOYCOTTING THE BOOK. RECENTLY I SAW YOU ON FOX NEWS (BILL O’REILEY). EXPLAINING WHY THE BOOK SHOULD NOT BE PUBLISHED. WHY EXPLAIN IT’S A NO BRAINER SYDNEY AND JUSTIN.(THAT’S THE #1 REASON) WHY DOESN’T ANYONE GET IT.

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS WHEN O.J. WAS GOING TO PUBLISH THE BOOK ALL THE NEWS SHOWS NANCY GRACE, GERALDO, & BILL O’REILEY SPOKE OUT AGAINST THE BOOK.

WHEN YOU WERE ON THE O’REILEY FACTOR COULD YOU NOT GET MR. O’REILEY TO SPEAK OUT TO HIS VIEWS TO BOYCOTT THE BOOK IF IT’S PUBLISHED OR BEFORE IT’S PUBLISHED. MR. O’REILEY HAS A LOT OF PULL IN TV MEDIA AND PEOPLE LISTEN TO HIM. HE GOT THE FOX INTERVIEW
OF O.J PULLED. SO WHY CAN’T HE (MR. OREILEY) AND OTHER DO THE SAME ABOUT THE BOOK.

I THINK THE BOOK IS SICK, AND IF HE (MR.GOLDMAN) PUBLISH THE BOOK AFTER WHAT HE SAID ABOUT THE BOOK (DISGUSTING). THEN HE IS IN THE SAME CLASS AS O.J. WHICH HAS NO CLASS. IF HE DOESN’T THINK ABOUT YOUR FAMILY (THE BROWN’S) THEN HE SHOULD CONSIDER SYDNEY & JUSTIN.

THANK GOD THEY HAVE YOU TO PROTECT THEM. GOD BLESS YOU DENISE.

I THINK THE COURT RULING SHOULD HAVE BEEN 50/50. ALTHOUGH THE BROWN FAMILY COULD CARELESS ABOUT THE BLOOD MONEY FROM THE BOOK.THAT WHY DENISE HAS BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN GO AROUND CHASING O.J. HER MAIN FOCUS IS PROTECTING SYDNEY & JUSTIN. & HELPING OTHER (WHAT AN ANGEL) GOD BLESS HER.

DENISE THOUGHT THAT THE GOLDMAN’S WAS GOING TO GET THE RIGHTS TO THE BOOK & BURN IT.
BUT SHE NEVER KNEW THAT THE GOLDMAN’S WOULD EVEN CONSIDER
PUBLISHING IT. IF SO THE BROWNS WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE RIGHTS.

I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A LAW THAT IF THERE A MURDER INVOLVING 2 FAMILY LIKE THE GOLDMAN’S/BROWN’S & ONE FAMILY WANTS TO WRITE OR PUBLISH A BOOK. BOTH FAMILY’S HAS TO O.K IT. IF ONE FAMILY O.K. IT & THE OTHER SAY NO THEN THE FAMILY CANNOT WRITE OR PUBLISH THE BOOK. BOTH FAMILY’S HAS TO AGREE.

ALSO HOW CAN WE BOYCOTT THE PUBLISHER OR THE STORE THAT MIGHT SELL THIS CRAP. HOW CAN WE HELP. PLEASE RESPOND

    THANK YOU

There’s a lot of talk about hypocrisy here and as I had iterated on previous occasion there had been many who reaped financial gain at the expense of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. If this book was to provide monies to the Goldman family then maybe, just maybe that would help to lessen the cost they had already suffered as a consequence of Ronald’s murder by the hands of the sadistic, narcissistic and arrogant O.J. Simpson. I don’t think for one second that this book is a manual for murder and if you think of it there are thousands of other books on the market as well as television shows, movies, music and video games that can be construed as manuals for murder.

If the Goldman’s are hypocrites then so be it, but remember there are many more who, too, are hypocrites, users and who did not lose a son or a brother. Denise Brown, I commend what she’s doing with the foundation but she, too, has reaped financial rewards and gained fame from the murders. I will not call her a hypocrite.

If the selling of this book helps put some money in the hands of the Goldman’s then let it be, they do deserve some type of gain from their monumental loss. Let us not forget that a jury found OJ Simpson liable for Ronald’s death in the civil case and they were awarded monetary compensation….

  65. CALVIN said,

    MR. RICKYFICO

YOU SAY THAT THERE ARE MANY MORE WHO, TOO ARE HYPOCRITES.
YES YOUR RIGHT. NO ONE IS SAYING THAT THE GOLDMAN’S SHOULD NOT GET THERE MONEY. WHAT EVERYONE IS SAYING IS, PROFIT FROM YOUR SONS MURDER IS VERY TACKY. OPENING OLD WOUNDS. JUST TO GET A BUCK. HURTING INNOCENT CHILDREN. THERE NO EXCUSE FOR THAT TYPE OF BEHAVIOR. IF THE GOLDMAN’S SAY THE BOOK IS FOR CLOSURE, THEN DON’T PUBLISH THE BOOK. KEEP IT FOR YOURSELF AND READ IT AND GET CLOSURE FOR YOURSELF. DON’T OPEN A 13 YEAR OLD WOUND. IT’S JUST SICK. I’M SORRY. AND IF ANYONE BUY THE BOOK THEN THEY ARE
    AS SICK AS O.J. & THE GOLDMAN’S
DENISE IS RIGHT THE GOLDMAN’S ARE LIVING UP TO THEIR NAME.
WHAT KIND OF PARENT WOULD PROFIT FROM HIS SONS DEATH.

I THINK HE SHOULD LIKE DENISE AND TALK TO OTHER AND HEAL & GET CLOSURE

  66. rickyfico said,

Calvin, I don’t think that the Goldman’s are profiting from Ronald’s Murder but for them to get some type of compensation from the O.J. Simpson estate is appropriate and it’s too bad that O.J. Simpson had to exert his ill-will and laugh in the face of justice and try to deny the Goldman’s any type of justice. So now that the Goldman’s were able to secure this so-called confession as away of generating income, then so be it. They were awarded this by a court of law and it is their right to have it published. Again, let me say emphatically that this book is not a manual for murder.

As you may know, Denise Brown had profited handsomely and I won’t say she doesn’t deserve it; she has worked toward furthering awareness on domestic violence issues.

It’s not the Goldman’s who we should berate, it’s not the Brown family– it is O.J. Simpson who continually mocks not only the justice system but both the Goldman and Brown families. If this book is a work of fiction or it is a true confessional it will be up to the children to decide, and they are all mature enough to read between the lines. Just because the book will be published doesn’t mean that it will be read. It is up to the individual to decide.

And, one more thing… there is never closure when you lose a family member this way and the murderer is still able to walk around, laugh and mock everybody and who plays golf in his safe haven….

No amount of money will ever bring closure. As far as I can see, if by a miracle or an act of God, O.J. Simpson was to come off his so-called mountain, confess honestly and remorsefully and truly decide that he wants to help heal the wounds and try to honestly help others understand the nature of his illness and his lashing out and killing his ex-wife and her friend then I suggest he accepts my proposal which can be read here:

You see, Calvin, I was brought into this case from the very beginning:

  67. CALVIN said,

    RICKYFICO

YES DENISE HAS PROFITED FROM THE DEATHS. WHAT PERSON SURROUNDED IN THE CASE DIDN’T. I THINK EVEYBODY ON THE CASE OR HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE TRIAL WROTE A BOOK OR PROFITED IN SOME WAY. BUT THERE IS A RESPECTFUL WAY OF DOING IT.

NO THEY WILL NEVER GET COMPLETE CLOSURE. NOT WHILE THE KILLER IS WALKING FREE. BUT CHASING O.J. 24-7 IS NOT GOING TO GIVE THEM THEIR SON BACK. O.J.’S NEVER GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT HE DID. AND HE REALLY DON’T CARE IF THE BOOK IS PUBLISHED OR NOT. HE’S BEEN PAID AROUND $800,00 FROM FOX & HE DID THE INTERVIEW FOR MN1 ALTHOUGHT THEY STATED THAT THEY DID NOT PAY O.J. FOR THAT INTERVIEW. PLEASE O.J. IS NOT GOING TO DO ANY INTERVIEW UNLESS HE GET’S PAID.

HE HAS THAT MONEY HIDDEN OVER SEA OR GOD KNOWS WHERE. AND THE GOLDMAN ARE PISSED OFF BECAUSE HE HAS MONEY & THEY CAN’T TOUCH THE $800,000 OR HIS PENSION. SO O.J. LAUGH’S IN THEIR FACES. AND TELL THE MEDIA THAT THE GOLDMAN’S WON’T GET ONE RED CENT. SO HE WON’T WORK.

SO THE GOLDMAN’S ARE FURIOUS AT THAT STATEMENT. SO THE GOLDMAN’S DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO TO MAKE O.J. EAT HIS WORDS.
EVEN IF IT MEANS SELLING HIS SOUL TO THE DEVIL. EVEN IF THEY HAVE TO STAB THE BROWN FAMILY IN THE BACK WITH THE SAME KNIFE THAT O.J. KILLED HIS SON WITH . OR EVEN WORSE USE HIS SON TO GET THE MONEY OR REVENGE BY PUBLISHING THIS TRASH. JUST TO MAKE O.J. EAT HIS OWN WORDS.

O.J. KNOWS HOW TO PUSHES THIER BUTTONS. AND THEY FALL IN HIS TRAP EVERY TIME. YOU NEVER SEE THE BROWN’S STALKING HIM. THEY HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO.

I’M NOT SAYING THAT THEY SHOULD NOT GET THEIR JUDGEMENT
I THINK THEY SHOULD TAKE HIM FOR EVERY CENT HE HAS.

I JUST THINK THAT THE GOLDMAN’S SHOULD HAVE TALKED IT OVER WITH THE BROWN’S AND RESPECTED THEIR DECISION. IF THE GOLDMAN’S GO AHEAD WITH THIS TRASH. NO ONE WILL EVER RESPECT THEM LIKE THEY USE TO.

I WATCH THE NEWS SHOWS ALL THE TIME BILL O’REILEY, GERALDO, NANCY GRACE THEY ALL SAY IN IN BAD TASTE.
BILL SAID IT WILL NEVER SELL. I AGREE.

  68. rickyfico said,

Calvin, I, too, don’t think the book will sell well…. Honestly though, I am not a big fan of Bill O’Reiley so what he has to say I could care less. Geraldo and Nancy Grace I like, they both are extremely opinionated although I don’t always agree with them.

I won’t be buying/reading the book. I believe what Ms. Brown said on “The Today Show”.

  73. CALVIN said,

ANOTHER STORE (AMERICAN BOOKS) WILL NOT SELL THE O.J. BOOK.
TELL ME SOMETHING, HOW ARE THE GOLDMAN’S GOING TO PROFIT
IF THESE BIG CHAIN STORES WILL NOT SELL THE BOOK IN THEIR STORES.

THE PUBLISHER WILL LOSE MORE MONEY THAN THEY WILL BRING IN OFF THE BOOK.
IF THEY ARE SMART, THEY WILL JUST DITCH THE PROJECT.
    CUT THEIR LOSSES

BECAUSE #1 MOST BIG CHAIN STORES WILL NOT SELL THE BOOK
#2 NO ONE IS GOING TO BUY THE BOOK.

SO HOW COULD HE POSSIBLE PROFIT WITH ODDS LIKE THIS.
I BET THE PUBLISHER PULL OUT OF THIS BOOK DEAL.

  74. rickyfico said,

Yes, as I had stated on previous occasion this book, in particular, was ill-conceived. If OJ decides it’s time to face his demons and come to terms with his pathologies then maybe, just maybe a book that will help spread awareness and perhaps a better understanding of domestic violence issues could be written and published. My proposal still stands:

    http://www.tri-umphs.com/book-proposal.html

  75. CALVIN said,

PLEASE OJ WILL NEVER COME TO TERMS WITH ANYTHIHG IN LIFE.
HE HAS CONVINCED HIMSELFTHAT HE HASN’T DONE ANYTHING WRONG.
THAT’S WHY HE GO OUT DOING INTERVIEWS, AUTOGRAPHS, WRITE BOOKS
AND PLAY LOTS OF GOLF. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR OF A MURDERER. UNLESS YOUR TED BUNDY OR JEFFREY DAHMER.

WHAT I’M TRYING TO SAY IS THIS GUY SEEMS LIKE HE DOESN’T LOSE AN OUNCE OF SLEEP FOR WHAT HE’S DONE. NO GUILT WHAT SO EVER.
SOMETIME HE MAKES ME WONDER DID HE REALLY DO THIS MURDER.

SEE WITH BUNDY & DAHMER THEY WERE SERIAL KILLERS. I WOULD EXPECT THEM TO DOING EVERYDAY THINGS THAT OJ DOES WITH NO CONSCIENCE BECAUSE THEIR SERIAL KILLERS. BUT OJ NOT.

SO HOW IN THE HELL CAN HE LIVE LIFE FEELING GOOD ABOUT HIMSELF.

  76. rickyfico said,

Yes, the pathologies of a sociopath are such that those, like OJ Simpson, truly believe that their acts are justified. OJ Simpson and Scott Peterson share many of the same traits and they both are bona-fide sociopaths. Sociopaths lack conscience.

  77. Linda said,

I personally think that the Goldman’s should have the book published and sell it and do whatever they want with the profit. Opportunistic on the part of the Goldman’s? Yes. It is their opportunity to make money off of O.J. Simpson. Your loss, Denise Brown, is the worst loss I can imagine in a lifetime and I am sure you re-live aspects of that each and every day. However, how much more pain can the publishing of this book bring you and your family. I believe you are bitter because you are not sharing in a large enough percentage of the profit. If you were, I’m guessing you would be singing a different tune.

There are several other reasons that this book should be published and sold. Amy made some good points in regards to this in her post of Aug 15th. This book needs to be read by women and others who may be able to gleen insight into the mind of an abuser. The horrific details are what they. They are reality! And best of all they were written by the very person who denies the horrible crime he committed. You should not be the protector of anyone from what we now know can happen in an abusive relationship and by one so evil and narcissistic especially since you are now and advocate of abused women.

And Rick in his post of Aug 16th… the kids need to know exactly what their own father wrote! Do you not want them to know the truth?

Fred Goldman has devoted 10+ years of his life to tenatiously persue this criminal in court. While your venture and this website is honorable, I believe it pales in comparison. They have faught the fight and they deserve the proceeds. Further I’m dissappointed at your refering to the Goldman’s numerous public appearances as ‘whining’.

As for being a hypocrite (Fred Goldman), I dissagree completely. He was adamant that OJ not make anything from this book. Yes, it was an appalling venture on the part of OJ and he should not have been able to profit from it. But that’s because he does not deserve a dime of that money and would be profiting from Ron and Nicole’s deaths. The Goldman’s will be profiting from a venture of OJ’s that was ultimately denied him. Wasn’t that the plan? Isn’t that one of the reasons he was taken to civil court and sued for money? To undermine any financial venture of his? I realize that no amount of money will bring your sister or Ron back, but if it is a way to make OJ pay then the only problem I see that you have with it is that you aren’t getting any of it.

not that you didn’t try tho…
My understanding is that you were awarded 10% of the profit of the proceeds. So if you had been awarded the 50% you were seeking it would then be ok for the book to go to publication? With all due respect I think that seems like hypocrisy.

I will buy and read the book for the right reasons. To satisfy my curiosity of this narcissistic person and to help the Goldman’s. I hope the book sells well. I hope many people read it and get something from it including the women you are devoted to help.
Judging from the posts to date I’m fairly sure you won’t post this. I hope you do though, It will help balance the page.

  82. Denise said,

I thank you all for being involved but there are people not understanding a few things.
Linda this book being published isn’t for the Brown’s. It’s for the Estate of Nicole for Sydney and Justin. If you recall back in November when this all statred the Goldman’s were in talks with NewsCorp. They were going behind the civil juudgment to get money for themselves. They were going to get 5 million dollars from NewsCorp and the book would have been published and the TV show would have been aired. The Goldman’ offered the Brown family 250,000.00 to do with whatever we wanted. This was to happen behind the civil judgment. With that 250,000.00 we could give it to Sydney and Justin or keep it the Goldman’s didn’t care. We opted to go the legal route. That would have been an illegal move on the Goldman’s part. Our lawyers and we decide no way could we get into a venture like this. We declined and yes I screwed them out of the 5 million dollars because it was the wrong thing to do. Did I then go on the Today Show and call it hush money, Yes because that’s what they wanted us to do sign an agreement and go away.
The Goldman’s wanted this booked stopped after that. We all banned together to stop publication and stop the TV show. Legally the Estate has to file on behalf of the children otherwise the kids could come back an sue my father for not doing what’s in their best interest. Low and behold the corporation that did the book deal goes bankrupt. Goldman finds a trustee in BK court and starts negotiations with him for the book. The trustee should have informed the Estate the other huge creditors but didn’t. When the estate first went into the BK proceedings was totake the rights of the book away from Goldman. The first attorney in communications with Goldman’s attorney’s new they were going to publish the book. All the more reason to go in and stop it. No such luck on our part.
Linda you have no idea how many books need to be sold in order to fullfill this judgment of creditors. MILLIONS. Just alone the writer is getting 350,000.00 the attorney’s involved the trustee for the BK. You have no idea. One person could buy this book put it on the internet and no one wins. Not the Goldman’s no one.
They have stopped Simpson from making any more money. He already got 800,000.00 do you think he cares. And for battered women I think your wrong. They don’t need to know how he killed Nicole and Ron. They are living their own nightmare. They know what a narsisist (sp?) is they are living that hell. Many battered women talk about their husband telling them “I’m going to OJ you” “They same thing is going to happen to you like Nicole” They don’t need to read that they are living it. They need something to help them get out of their abusive relationship. Something positive not the writings of a murderer.
I hope this gives all a bit of insight into the screwed up deal.

  84. Denise, since this has been one of the most publicized murders I still believe that if by miracle OJ Simpson was to get real, gain a conscience and relate the full story, no holds barred, it would provide those who have the “OJ pathologies” a better understanding s to their own predilections. The key here is ratify the notion that OJ didn’t get away with murder and to put it into the minds of those who are capable of murder that they will not get away it and it’s best if they get help before it’s too late….

And September 13 is my birthday, thank you. Oh, Denise, if you are looking for an editor or a writer I am available. I am passionate about helping further awareness on various issues, one of course, is domestic violence.

    http://www.tri-umphs.com

  85. What do you think were the motives for OJ Simpson murdering the mother of his children. Was it because he couldn’t control his rage after he was rebuffed at Syndey’s recital and not invited to the party afterwards at Messaluna or was it because he couldn’t bear the thought of Nicole having relationships (sexual) with other men and on the night of June 12, 1992 when he saw Ronald Goldman in his mind, OJ saw only images of Ronald and Nicole engaged in a physical encounter or was it just a combination of all these factors coupled with his controlling, narcissistic pathologies. Really, OJ. Simpson actually suffered from low self-esteem and had misogynistic tendencies that were brought on at a relatively early age. He felt his father was emasculated by his stern mother, a reason contributing to his father’s homosexuality, and because of this belief at any early age he adopted misogynistic tendencies. There are many factors that contributed to the murders but these are just a few that I had discerned. I am not a psychologist, I am more a philosopher with a few insights.

  86. I meant June 12, 1994 not 1992. 1992 was when I had my Epiphany.

Even if the monies go to the Ron Goldman Foundation, allowing OJ’s voice to be heard is just too much to stomach. Fred should just be thankful and happy that he has his judgement against OJ so that he could never profit from such trash as this. Why now, after all of this time, does he now feel the right to publish this book? Is the money that important? Will it bring Ron or Nicole back? NO!

Keep up the good fight, Denise. You are doing a wonderful job with Nicole’s memory. It is obvious your fight is in the right place. Shame on Fred and the Goldman family. It seems that they are only out for the money.

I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MANY SICKO’S WANT TO READ ABOUT TWO MURDERS. HOW SICK IS THAT. WHAT IS IT ABOUT THIS BOOK THAT EVERYONE WANT A COPY TO READ. A LOT OF PEOPLE MAKE EXCUSES
& SAY I ONLY BOUGHT THE BOOK TO MAKE SURE THE GOLDMAN’S GET THERE MONEY. BUT WE KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE FASCINATED WITH O.J.
    AND THIS BOOK.

IF THE RIGHTS WAS STILL IN O.J.’S HANDS AND HE HAD PUBLISHED THIS BOOK & IF HE GOT ALL THE PROCEEDS FROM THE BOOK, PEOPLE WOULD NOT CARE. THEY WOULD HAVE STILL BOUGHT THE BOOK. ALL BECAUSE THEY WANT TO KNOW HOW HE DID IT. YOU MUST ADMIT THIS GUY IS A MONEY MAKER. THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO HANG ON TO EVERY WORD HE SPIT OUT.

THEIR JUST AS SICK AS HE IS.

    Hi, Denise,

I have been following this saga for awhile now, and I am about to be the (seemingly) only one who feels that the book should be published.

I actually think it would be beneficial for Justin, Sydney, and the other kids to finally know the truth. They need to know how he did it, and then they will move so far away from him, OJ will be left by himself, soulfully looking for the real killer–while playing golf, of course!

I hope that your family gets the kids forever, because they will be with people who genuinely love them, and who can give them the security and love that they so desperately need. They are in their tender years where they are so susceptible to bad influences. Also, this OJ crap has (I think)been something hard for their dates to swallow.
But the truth needs to be told, and thank God that OJ is telling it. I hope that the racially biased idiotic jurors see what a mistake they made, just to “Win one for the brotha”!!!! I hope the book torments them for LIFE!!!
Too bad Johnny Cochroach is dead! And where is FLEEB ( F. Lee Baley) when you want to see him squirm???

I really think that OJ figured wrong. He thought about writing a book which would bring him a fortune, and in doing so he has managed to do what Marcia Clark and stupid Chris Darden couldn’t do!
Darden, as you know, was warned by Johhny Cochroach TO NOT TO LET OJ TRY ON THE GLOVES!
So what did Darden do? HE FELL FOR THE BAIT! HE LOST THE CASE THE MOMENT OJ “STRUGGLED” WITH PUTTING HIS HANDS INSIDE THE GLOVES!!
I never heard Marcia Clark or Chris Darden say: ” HEY, OJ WAS NOT WEARING LATEX GLOVES THAT NIGHT, SO OF COURSE IT’S NOT GONNA FIT!”
    DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone owes Mark Furhman a HUGE apology!!! He was totally professional and right on the money!

Be careful about what you say about the Goldman’s, Denise. Because my readers are beginning to say that you are upset about their wanting the book published, because you wanted to cut a deal first.

God Bless you and your family and I am sure Nicole has always smiled down on you because you turned a tragedy into giving back to others, and that is wonderful!
    Take good care!

I will always remember that horrific day. The pain of these two familes must have been and still is very much a part of their everyday lives.

And I am especially saddened by what Sydney and Justin along with the murderers other children had to go through.

Everyone keeps talking about these innocent “children” and Denise you say you are tring to protect these “children”. Thirteen years ago I can hear you saying this, but these “children” are now twenty-one and eighteen years old. They are young adults and far more aware of tragedy than people older than they are because of what their father (and I use that term loosely) did. They are old enough to make their own desicions, I’m sure that they believe what their father did this to their mother and truly believe in their hearts that he did do it. It does not matter what you-we want for these “children” they are adults and able to make up their own minds and have their own opinions…… Can’t stand that he is able to have his face all over the media to this day… But in the end no matter what you or anyone else thinks. In these “children’s” eyes, he still is their father, and that will never change for them.

Under no circumstances would I purchase or read this book. In a MUCH different way, I have become just as repulsed by Fred and his daughter kim as I have with Simpson. I believe Simpson to be a calculating, vicious murderer but I believe Fred and Kim to be disingenuous and completely hypocritical. They have lost their focus: RON! I have lost all respect for them and am no longer interested in their public statements. In my opinion, their hate and revenge has nothing to do with Ron.

  95. anthony said,

I saw the free on line version and oj passes memory blank out at the moment one would think he is about to do something. he did not know what happened. no details of any murder. a few totally impossible talk. thats it.
I know some will be p***** after buying the book and finding this blank.

    IT WASN’T A BROTHA THANG!!!!!!

IF I’M NOT MISTAKEN THERE WERE WHITE’S ON THE JURY ALSO
SO THERE’S NOTHING RACIAL ABOUT IT.
IT WAS JUST THE EVIDENCE PRESENTED TO THE JUROR.

SO DON’T BLAME THE JUROR, BLAME MARCIA & HER LEGAL TEAM FOR GETTING O.J. OFF. (LACK OF EVIDENCE)

AND ALSO EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT THE KIDS BEING OF AGE. SINCE NICOLE WAS MURDERED. DENISE HAS STEPPED IN NICOLE’S SHOE TO BE MOTHER TO THESE KIDS. AND DENISE HAS DONE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE
TO PROTECT THESE KIDS. JUST BECAUSE THEIR 18 & 21. IT DOESN’T MATTER. A PARENT WILL ALWAY’S BE THERE TO PROTECT THEIR KIDS.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE KIDS TO UNDERSTAND IT.

Read the LEAKED [by O.J or Regan] book FREE online. There is no murder or ‘confession’just a parcial chapter that makes little sence.Like it was written by a tabloid writer. IT WAS.

No need to buy. Go to B&N read that part of chapter 6 ,put it back on the shelf and leave.

I passionately feel for the families of Nicole and Ron. However, I feel even more passionately that the murderer, OJ, needs to be held accountable for his actions. His has slid by for years, not paying a dime to either of the victim’s families. In a sense, it’s poetic justice. With his big mouth, and huge ego, it was only a matter of time before OJ’s egomanical persona would outweigh his common sense. He had to “brag” about the murders. It’s just another lame attempt to be in the public eye. He will rot in hell…no doubt about that.

I am in the process of having a book written. It’s been many years in the making. I do not have a formal education and have hired a ghostwriter, and, the book is almost completed.
If and when we find a publisher, I will certainly donate a portion to abused children. They have no choice!
When you speak with abused women who are suffering in horror, please, make them understand…they must leave to protect their babies.

    Dear Denise,

I respect, applaud, and support what you have been doing in the name of Nicole and abused women and/ or children everywhere…. I am just a bit confused about one thing however. On Oprah, you stated that you wished your sister had told you about what she was going through. In Sheila Weller’s “Raging heart” it was perceived that you did know what she was going through. You had testified in court that you had witnessed some of the abuse first hand in her house with him, you had taken pictures of her battered face from the New Years incident… I think it would benefit alot of us if you could explain where you were coming from when you say that you just were not aware of it. I am asking this question with respect and sincerity and I hope you can answer this for me. Keep on keepin on! Good Luck with everything and much love to you and yours.

    Sincerely wondering

    Pamela

If everyone who feels so strongly against this book would just email their friends about the petition AND most importantly make the phone calls to the booksellers–the public outcry would cause the booksellers to pull the books. The public outcry is what stopped the book back in November.

I have just watched Oprah and saw the Goldmans and Denise. First of all my deepest sympathy to both families.
I personally would never ever read anything oj simpson would write. What he has to say means nothing. He is a murderer and he knows it and most of the American people know it as well.
As for the GOldmans. Its one thing to get the book rights, its a whole other story to publish it. I understand not wanting him to make money but why publish the filth that has come out of him. Why even give him that satisfaction. So now he gets over 600,000. $$$ AND his book gets published. I am confused on how this is good for you and Nicoles children.
HOw he got away with all the things he has done is pathetic. He is a disgrace to the american people and human race.
I hope his children get free from him all together and live the way Nicole would have wanted for them.
I wish for the Brown family Peace.

Here is another person’s comment on the book:

I read the book and am sorry I wasted my time. I can totally understand your anger and wanting to stop it from being published. I don’t understand the thinking of the Goldman family in going ahead with the publication. If that had been their son being trashed for over 100 pages, I doubt they would have gone forward with it. Nicole deserved better.

Thank you for all you do to stop domestic abuse.

I understand that the judge ordered the book to be monetized, how would you have not published it?

I don’t know about anyone else but i read the book and it reveals just how sick and how much of a liar OJ really is. (The book is mainly about Nicole and how everything that happened is her fault) No OJ the problem is YOUR REACTION TO NICOLE ! Even if she upset you nothing will ever justify your actions.Poor Ron was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If my wife was brutally murdered I don’t think I would write a book that says basically “she deserved it.” Yes it is a confession , and nobody needs to hear it I truly believe the time has come for OJ to pay the piper.I think he knows his life ended when he murdered those people and he wants to be punished -that is why he never goes away.

  116. Danelle said,

Denise, first of all I am so sorry that your family has had to go through this horrific loss. I was only 16 years old when the murders happened – but I do remember following the case myself even at that age. I did read the book and I read it mainly because I was courious. I don’t think the book was a real depiction of what happened – only opinions of OJ. I understand your concern with the book being published but I do also see the Goldman’s side of the publishing of the book. I look forward to reading your book about Nicole. You are doing a great job with the foundation and I have a lot of respect for your work. God Bless you all and thanks for giving me the oppurtunity to comment on this blog.

  117. MARY BETH said,

OJ is the one who started this whole idea of writing this book. He was the one who was originally thinking, “Boy I could write this, get back at the Goldman’s/Brown’s and make tons of money at the same time.” OJ is a murderer who was the one who originally wanted to brag that he got away with it and HA HA in the Goldman’s/Brown’s faces and stir up the pain an grief all over again! People should not be trashing the Goldman’s for turning the tables on this poor excuse of a human being! The gall this murderer had to even conceive this book in the first place!

For me…I am glad the Goldman’s did what they did and could care less what they do with the money…which I tend to think would be more towards good than bad. This would of been money going TO A MURDERER! Let them buy cars and houses! Live a life of luxury or whatever! Throw that right back into OJ’s face! What I am mainly thinking is how OJ is fuming and regreting and most of all, convincing millions of “fans and believers of his innocence” that HE IS A MURDERER…

These people who believed in him…yes, including his children and family…now are truely getting the true picture of this horrible man and the way his sick mind works.

Now with what has happened in Las Vegas…hopefully his smug smile will soon be behind bars where it belongs with the rest of the murderers.

BTW – The book cover was brilliant.

A small note to Ms. Brown…my heart goes out to your family and the horrific loss of Nicole. In the bible it says that when a person dies, they are like they are sleeping and in a “twinkling of an eye” they will wake and be before Christ and His kingdom on earth. A place where everyone will follow the commandments and laws of the bible and the new world will be peaceful. You will see Nicole again and laugh and be happy. Believe in that! Take care and thank you for all that you do for abused women.

  118. MARY HOFMANN said,

PS I know that OJ trashed Nicole in the book and made her seem like she deserved what HE did…if HE DID IT. I believe that the people who read it will see right through his attempts to put himself in a “better light” and have more anger towards him and not believe a word of it.

I am deeply sorry about this part of the publishing of this book. Nicole does not deserve that. The Goldman’s should of edited those parts of the book.

I would NEVER read this book. I would much prefer to donate the entire price of the book to the children than to legitimize this disgusting repulsive man who smirks at what he got away with!
I am very proud of you and your parents for your grace and decorum.
It is DIVINE JUSTICE and not coincidence that he has been convicted now 13 YEARS TO THE DAY FROM HIS ACQUITTAL for his last stunt PROVING just how above the law he believed he was.
I will continue to pray for you and your family.

    Hi Denise

Keep up your good work. I hope and pray your family can find some solace knowing that at last some measure of justice has been meted out to this dispicable person. Hi Denise, I saw you on Mike Huckabee’s show and Larry King Live in the past week concerning Chris Brown and Rhianna. Honestly, I had never heard of them before this incident and I am glad you spoke out. I too have a story about abuse and I want to tell you briefly about it. My older brother is an abuser and he has a LONG HISTORY of abuse. He was abusive to my younger brother and me as kids, to the family dog (by putting the dog into dogfights), he was abusive to his now ex wife and of course to his now grown kids, who no longer speak to him. When my neice was 12 years old, (she is almost 27 now) she told me her father had been abusing her, so I testified against him in court. My father to this day simply says, “He cannot help it” and refuses to acknowledge there is a problem. Way to go Denise, keep speaking up about abuse. In my case, EVERYBODY in my extended family knows about my brothers abuse and he is now living a life of solitude. Way to go Denise! Keep it up! Doug
